The salt is the point. Nutella on its own is very sweet; a few flakes of sea salt across the top pulls it back and makes the hazelnut taste like hazelnut rather than sugar. Break it open while it’s warm and the centre still runs. 50g each, baked in small batches at our Andheri West kitchen.

Storage
Keeps 60 days at room temperature in its sealed pack — the reason we can post it across the country. Once opened, store in an airtight jar. Ten seconds in the microwave returns the centre to molten.
